Just a little detour in the right direction...

Well, the more I thought about medical school, the more freaked out I became about the amount of time it was going to take me to accomplish my dream of becoming a healthcare professional. So, I decided to take another route and become a Physician Assistant. I researched it and was amazed by how much more comfortable I felt with this decision. I had even spoken to several PA's who had faced the same dilema at one point. The more I talk to them, the more excited (not anxious, like med school was making me feel) I became.

I took all the necessary steps so I could apply for the PA programs. I requested letters of recommendation, took my GRE, requested and received all of my transcripts...etc. It seemed daunting at first but you know the deal. If you really want something, you have to go after it.

Anyways, with all that said, I finally submitted my application through CASPA, the central application agency for the PA program through which most schools have applicants apply through. It takes 2-5 weeks for all your information to to be verified so I hope to hear back from the majority of these schools shortly. I hope I get in to this profession. I'm so excited and hope that get a call to interview soon.

Wish me luck!!!!
